Eileen was cremated at Springwood Crematorium, Allerton, Liverpool on Monday 10th December 2012 at a service led by Humanist Celebrant Mr Steve Kenealy. Tributes from Eileen's sister Miriam and poems and words from her children and grandchildren were read out at a moving celebration of Eileen's life. Friends and family followed the service by meeting up at the Sefton Cricket Club to celebrate and remember Eileen in the positive and heartening manner she would have enjoyed.
